Some moments stay in your heart for a lifetime. One of those moments that set me on a new path was September 28, 2014, when we went to a club show at Orlík. That day we went to see the parents of our dream female puppy, whom we had reserved with the breeder. There were about 190 dogs entered at the show and it was an incredible experience for us. I was fascinated by the calm and relaxed atmosphere among all the dogs. As we stood by the show ring watching the events, I noticed a tall blonde lady, behind whom a female dog with white coat appeared and headed straight towards her. The lady just calmly looked at her and said: "Go back." The female turned around and slowly walked obediently back to her place. It was amazing. That was Mrs. Silva with Amálka and our first meeting. We met Mrs. Silva for the second time at a show in Brno. This time we went with a clear goal — after a long search, to select a suitable sire for our Bizzete (daughter of our Enny). Since the search had been going on for a really long time, we were determined that this time we had to choose. We watched the events in the ring and suddenly a similar moment as with Amálka occurred. We saw a dog running in the ring who couldn't take his eyes off his handler. That evening after the show, we sat down at home and discussed everything again. When it came to Hubert and Mrs. Silva, we were certain. We agreed that he was the one. That look and devotion in his eyes simply couldn't be overlooked. At our third meeting, we got to know Mrs. Silva, and this time Bizz was with us too. Now a shared journey awaits us 🫶.

Hubert carries old Czech blood from his great-grandmother Ambra. This is a line from the first unrelated females imported to the Czech Republic and from the first unrelated African males. His grandmother A'Kenya Jayne of Silamja, nicknamed "Honzina", was one of the most successful RR females in our country and comes from my first litter. Her daughter Kira, Hubert's dam, has a sire from Norway and a line leading to Scandinavia. Hubert's sire is B'Lower Leo, the breed winner from the most prestigious show in the world — Crufts. Leo comes partly from an American line (through Hubert's paternal grandfather) and partly from a Scandinavian line (through Hubert's paternal grandmother). Dogs from my Silamja kennel line have had completed blood tracking tests for tracking fallen game for four generations — namely Ambra, Honzina, Hubert and his uncle.
